Best backdrops for your next Branding Photo Shoot

Cityscape locations

With the city at our doorstep we are truly spoilt. Whether we are looking from the South Perth Foreshore, or taking in the view from Tompkins on Swan, we are spoilt for choice with the amount of lovely expansive vantage points that surrounds this beautiful city.

Incorporating the cityscape into your portraits adds another dimension and context to your photographs. Not only will you have an image that you are proud to share with the world, but you are also dropping a ‘visual pin’ so that the world can come to you.

Indoor studio setup

An indoor location will allow us to control everything in a more consistent way. With a good understanding of lighting and composition, you can create the perfect light quality, quantity, direction and colour. Indoor photography allows you to control more of the lighting, colour and elements in the scene that you are creating. Outdoor photography has more of a surprise element where you will sometimes need to improvise as weather conditions can change and you have to adapt to the environment.

In a controlled environment, we can create a number of visual scenes that best convey the right message to your ideal customer. By doing this, we capture the essence of your brand in the best light possible.

Out and about on location

Getting creative with your environment can bring your portraits to life and captivate the viewer as the scene tells a story. The colours green and royal blue are currently on trend and by adding a bit of colour or texture to your setting (ie brick walls, painted walls, nature, etc) you can really change the overall look and feel of your photographs. It’s all about setting the right mood to convey your message.

The sky is the limit as the elements that surround us everyday can be combined together to create the perfect portrait. Even the most standard backdrops that you may not pay much attention to could be the perfect setting for your portrait.

These are some of the brilliant locations that can make for an excellent backdrop for your portraits.
